Plant Parenthood isn't just a project - it's a reflection of our family's journey towards a healthier, more compassionate way of life. It all started with a desire to nourish our kids with the best possible foods, but it evolved into something much deeper.

Our journey began with a conversation - one that many families probably have. We were expecting our first child, and while I'd always been vegetarian, my wife had a more traditional upbringing. We had to figure out how to bridge our different backgrounds and create a food culture that felt right for our family.

We dove into research, exploring the benefits of a plant-based diet for our children's health, the impact on the planet, and the ethical considerations surrounding animal agriculture. The more we learned, the more we felt a plant-based lifestyle aligned with our values.

But making that shift wasn't without its challenges. We had to learn new cooking techniques, find creative ways to meet our kids' nutritional needs, and navigate questions (and sometimes a bit of pushback) from family and friends.

Through it all, though, we learned the power of patience, understanding, and open communication. We supported each other, celebrated our successes, and learned from our missteps. And most importantly, we watched our kids thrive on a plant-based diet.

That's why we created Plant Parenthood. We wanted to share our experiences, offer support to other families, and build a community where everyone feels empowered to embrace a plant-powered life.

This website, our books, and our courses are all extensions of our family's journey. We're excited to continue learning and growing alongside you as we explore the endless possibilities of plant-based living.
